Terms of Service

Last updated: June 9, 2026

1. The service

Walk to Mordor ("the App") is a collaborative fitness tracker that converts your daily steps into progress along a shared journey with your group. By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be old enough to consent to this agreement in your jurisdiction and capable of entering into a binding contract. If you use the App on behalf of a group, you confirm you are authorized to do so.

3. Your account and group

  • You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account.
  • Members of a group share a single group password. Keep it confidential and share it only with people you intend to be part of your fellowship.
  • You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the App — including attempting to access other groups' data, disrupting the service, reverse-engineering it, or using it for any unlawful purpose.

5. Not medical advice

The App is for motivation and entertainment. Step counts and progress are estimates and are not medical advice. Consult a qualified professional before making decisions about your health or exercise.

6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The App is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

7. Termination and account closure

You may close your account at any time from within the App; doing so permanently deletes your data as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the developer's place of residence, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
